Einige Features und Spielmechaniken, die heute völlig normal sind, waren vor wenigen Jahren noch undenkbar. Nehmen wir als Beispiel das mittlerweile standardmäßige Deckungs- und Regenerationssystem. Für Inhalte extra bezahlen? Das hätten wir uns wohl kaum vorstellen können, hätte man von uns vor einigen Jahren verlangt, für Extra-Maps den Geldbeutel zu zücken. Heute freuen wir uns über DLCs , auch wenn man manchmal das Gefühlt hat, dass Inhalte zurückgehalten werden.

Leistungsstarke Smartphones waren in Nokia-Zeiten absolut unvorstellbar. Wir waren mit den Schwarz-Weiß-Displays mehr als zufrieden und haben uns unsere Zeit mit Snake vertrieben. Heute haben Handys mehrere Prozessorkerne und starke Grafikchips.

3D vor dem eigenen TV-Gerät? Und dann auch noch Spiele, die lebensecht aus dem Fernseher kommen? Das wäre beispielsweise vor 15 Jahren ein Blick in eine High Tech-Zukunft gewesen, die wir niemals geglaubt hätten. Umwerfend!
