Der Hersteller Nvidia hat einen neuen Treiber für seine Grafikkarten veröffentlicht. Dieser soll angeblich 38% mehr Performance für den Ego-Shooter Battlefield 3 bieten.

Nvidia hat einen neuen Grafikkartentreiber in der Version 285.38 veröffentlicht. Dieser sorgt laut den offiziellen Patch-Notes im Ego-Shooter Battlefield 3 für einen Performance-Zuwachs in Höhe von 38 Prozent. Dies nahm Johan Andersson von dem Entwickler Digital Illusions zum Anlass, um den Treiber via Twitter für den anstehenden Beta-Test des Spiels zu empfehlen. Die »Open Beta« startet am 29. September 2011.

Wer sich Battlefield 3 über die Onlineplattform »Origin« vorbestellt oder die limitierte Edition von Medal of Honor gekauft hat, darf 48 Stunden früher in den Beta-Test einsteigen - also am 27. September 2011. PC-Besitzer müssen sich den Beta-Client via Origin herunterladen, während der Download für Konsolen bei den jeweiligen Marktplätzen (PSN Store und Xbox Live) zu finden sein wird.
