Seid bereit für ein weiteres Spezial Event bei World of Tanks.

Dieses Wochenende startet die Operation Avalanche.

Operation Avalanche spielte eine bedeutende Rolle im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Es war eine Landoperation der Alliierten auf dem italienischen Festland, bei Salerno in Kampanien, im September 1943. Das Ziel dieser Operation war die Einnahme des Hafens von Neapel. Am 9. September haben etwa 450 Kampfmaschinen an der Operation teilgenommen. Die Kampfeinheiten waren aus den verschieden Orten angekommen. Um die Operation geheim zu halten, gab es keine vorläufigen Marine- oder Luftangriffe.
